It was supposed to be impossible for two cars in the same class to do what we did. If you had been able to remain in Economy you would have placed second in class, but still beat the first in class car for overall position.

It's never happened before, when I asked about it before the event, nobody believed it could really happen.

We got the struts and springs back in the car tonight, now we can roll it around while we wait for the head, header, and intake manifold to come back from McLaren where they were waiting to be installed in the Y2K car.
I am going to have one advantage this year, my son Jesse, who is now 10 days old, is training me to only need one hour of sleep at a time. The bright side is that I can surf the net all night while he considers getting some sleep.

A completely different note, the Raptor is coming back this year. I guess we're all going to have to settle for second place....
