It looks like Economy Sedan is going to be a great
class this year. Jeremy is bring the 200SX (right?,
my Neon, the black Neon from last year, and at least
two Honda Civics. It also looks like the end of Neon
domination... :-( I'm looking forward to seeing the DSM when it's done.
With all the family experience at One Lap, I know
Twingles is well aware of the durability issues that
can take a really competitve car out of the running.
With the amount of trouble those problems cause, and
experience from the Seven, I expect to see a bullet-
proof car that is fast enough to stay close to the well-
driven supercars, and well ahead of the supercars that
have average drivers. We had great plans, but money and discretion (mostly
money) have kept the Forward Motion turbo out of our
car. On the bright side, I'll already be in the
swing of things when it comes to the sleep schedule.
Our new son, Jesse, is due on March 3rd so I'll still
be on a three hour 'day'. Watkins Glen is closed for
re-paving this spring so I probably won't even make it
to anything faster than an autocross before One Lap.
Having another baby is a great excuse for being lazy. See all ya'll in May,
