Ari Jay Comet
Owner of the race car, Ari is a long time Neon enthusiast. He also enjoys autocrossing locally
in Solo II racing in the Cleveland area clubs. This was his first One Lap race,
but he hopes to participate in many more. He was the promotions coordinator.
Emmanuel Crouvisier
Also a Neon owner and enthusiast, Emmanuel has taken home a number of championships at a
variety of clubs in both Solo I and Solo II racing in the Cleveland and Chicago areas.
As a first-time participant in the One Lap, Emmanuel was happy to gain some great experience
on the road and track. He played the role of coordinator for the team.
Jim LaFevers
Jim has been a 'wheel man' since the 1960's, when he began racing sports cars, modified
production dragsters, and stock cars. He is a sports car enthusiast, and has most recently
raced Porsches, Ferraris, and Spitfires. He has won numerous events and club championships over
the years, and has been an instructor at several racing schools. He has also been employed as an
instructor of high performance driving for professional bodyguards, chauffeurs, and Federal agents
in the U.S., Central America, and the Caribbean.
