The 1998 Michelin One Lap of America has finally come to a close. Despite the long driving
hours throughout the last week (and well over 6,500 miles!), the time seems to have just
flown by. Unfortunately, we won't have the final results from today's event or our
overall/class standing until tomorrow, or perhaps tonight if we're lucky. The Impreza that
was second in our class looked pretty good at Watkins Glen, but I know that I was a LOT
faster than the first time I ran at the track last week. We'll see what happens! Regardless,
we should place third at worst (though the 4th place A4 was hauling today!), so hopefully
we'll be picking up a trophy tomorrow at the brunch. As well, hopefully we were able to fight
off the 29th and 30th place cars to stay in 28th overall, but nothing's certain (especially
when the other cars are all within 40 points!).

I'll be sure to write up a conclusion tomorrow or Monday (when time permits, since now
I have finals this week coming up..!) with our final standing, class standing, etc. As well,
I should have an entire list up of the results of every event, thanks to the great people
in T&S.
