June 5th was a great day of fun. In the morning we arrived at the BMW plant in Spartanburg,
SC and went for a plant tour as well as a 30-minute video clip. The entrance to the plant
(and where we were greeted) was most impressive - many BMW's from all different years were
in the entrance. We were also treated to some delicious food under a tent outside, a well
appreciated act, considering the lack of food and drink at Memphis the previous day.

Afterwards we drove to the test track and finally found out what the track looked like.
It was my turn to drive, so I went on a long walk through the course. About five turns (a
small circular shaped part) were completely covered in water, with sprinklers going full blast
throughout all our runs. Thank goodness for FWD - I finished 13th overall and 2nd in class! The
rest of the track was not that interesting, and was mostly just a long fast course with easy
turns.

Thanks to the high finish at Michelin, we were boosted from 31st overall to 28th! We're finally
in the 20's overall, and hopefully will stay there (or move up! :) tomorrow, at the last event.
