According to the offical One Lap site, spectators are not allowed at Road Atlanta. That's what they said last year too, and I still got in, but a friend of mine could not get in. Maybe the roll cage in the car made them think I was part of the staff or something.

The spectator ban is ridiculous, just about every single event at that track is open to spectators, and there isn't any thing especially dangerous at this event any more than there is at any other event. In fact, there is very little danger because of the small number of actual moving vehicles at any one time.
